The doctoral study program at individual faculties is provided by the doctoral studies department within the study department or the (support) science department. It is the most important information center for doctoral candidates. The basic activities include, inter alia, the organization of enrollments, the provision of information relating to the admission procedure at the faculty, special-purpose scholarships, state final examinations, dissertations and graduations. At some faculties, these departments also associate the agenda of pedagogical and publishing activities, foreign internships and grant competitions. The relevant faculty departments also organize a range of events and seminars.
