Successful supervision of doctoral candidates is a key element of high-quality doctoral education. Charles University therefore actively supports supervisors through a range of educational activities designed to help them develop their professional, pedagogical, and mentoring skills. As part of this support, supervisors are offered specialised courses focused on supervision methodology, pedagogical knowledge, dissertation guidance, effective communication, research ethics, and other important areas.

This intensive, one-day workshop is designed for doctoral supervisors at Charles University, with a focus on enhancing supervisory practices in light of evolving expectations in Czech doctoral education.
