Welcome!

Join our traditional information session, which will introduce you not only to the fundamentals of doctoral study, student support services, and the main funding and grant opportunities, but also to the experiences and insights of current doctoral students.

The entire session will be conducted in English.

The event is followed by the Academic Year Opening Ceremony, so an enjoyable social and cultural programme is guaranteed!

The Academic Year Opening Ceremony and cultural programme will begin at 17:00.

You will also have the opportunity to take part in a networking event with international students, featuring a pub quiz, student bands, and much more!

Time: 14:30-16:00; followed by a related event from 17:00 onwards

Venue: Kampus Hybernská, Building E, 1st Floor, Hybernská 4, Prague 1

Registration

The event has limited capacity; therefore, advance registration via the UK POINT Registration Portal is required (registration has not yet opened).

Tip for new Charles University students: If you are enrolling at Charles University for the first time and do not yet have access credentials for the University's information systems (e.g. CAS or SIS), please register in the Registration Portal as a member of the public. In this case, you will need to create an account, which you can then use to register for the event.
