Join the Debate with PostDoc Dr. Gamze Korbek

Come and debate with PostDoc Dr. Gamze Korbek, who will share her experience from various countries she visited and worked in, as well as with the position of PostDoc in the Czech Republic.

This debate is seen as an informal social event where you can meet and talk to other students or academic workers on a wider topic. Small refreshment is part of the event.

The guest is: Dr. Gamze Korbek

„I have been teaching English as a second language to students from different national backgrounds for fourteen years. I graduated from the Department of English Language Teaching in the Education Faculty at Anadolu University, Turkey, and I have worked in Turkey, Italy, and Spain with different types of effective foreign language teaching methods at all levels, from kindergarten students to future English teachers. I completed the international Ph.D. position in education at the University of Burgos, Spain, and the University of Palermo, Italy, in March 2020. My research area is focused on teacher training, teaching theory and practice, foreign language teaching methodologies, and CLIL.

Currently, I am a post doctoral research fellow at Charles University in the department of pre-primary and primary education. Moreover, I am an assistant professor in the English Language and Literature Department of Hradec Kralove University.“

The debate is held in english and takes place on Monday 13th March 2023 in Hybernska Campus in building 2D. The capacity of the event is 50 people and it is necessary to register in advance.
