The aim of Charles University issuing this directive is to specify the requirements for, and rights and duties of, supervisors of doctoral students in order to raise awareness about the due performance of this position, unify evaluation standards, and create a support framework for this crucial role to ensure the implementation of doctoral study at the required level of quality.
