            PhD studies with dual supervision of dissertations (known under the French name cotutelle)

            on the basis of cooperation between Charles University and a university abroad. Joint supe
            dissertation is carried out by two supervisors – one from each involved institution – and 
            candidate spends a part of the PhD programme at both institutions. This cooperation contri

            significantly to the internationalization of PhD studies, and in the long run, to the inte
            science and research at the faculties into an international environment.
